I started under the hood - data models, decision logic, payment schedules - and
kept going until I was building the whole thing: the screens people use, the
integrations, the automation that keeps it moving. One person from interface to
database, so nothing gets lost in the handover.
Most of the work is invisible.
That is the point.
I take long projects. Twelve of them in five years, most of them six months to a
year, with clients in Europe, the US, Brazil and the CIS. Long enough to ship,
watch it run, and fix what production teaches you.
I like work that can be checked. When a portfolio migration finishes and every
balance reconciles, down to the last invoice - that is the good part.
